The Why

John Miller, founder of One Vision International in Knoxville, TN, once spoke on making the dash on his tombstone mean something while I was with a group in Haiti with him. He said that he wanted people to be able to look at that dash and say that he made the most of it, that he allowed God to work through him and leave a mark on this world. This statement has stuck with me ever since. Ephesians tells us that we are put on this planet to do good works. I believe that everyone has the ability to make a visible impact on humanity. Whether it be good or bad revolves around the choices we make on a daily basis. With the life God has blessed me with I hope to be transparent enough to allow people to see my struggles, to be humble enough that God is able to direct my path, and to be open enough to step outside my comfort zone in order to make a difference in this fallen world. With this blog I hope I am able to do all three in a way that only summarizes my life. I also hope to encourage all who read.

    • Grew up Southern Baptist. I don’t really get into the whole denominational thing though. There are some that I won’t attend but some mountains aren’t worth dying on. Christ is the one and only son of the Living God and it is through him that our sin debt has been paid. A believe and relationship with Him is the only way that we will ever be able to get into heaven. If you have any questions feel free to email me. GrossE254@gmail.com
